Use of this website, registration and acceptance in classes constitutes acceptance of the following terms and conditions:

You, student if 18 years of age or above or student's parent if under 18 years, are participating in the martial art classes and associated activities offered by the American Kajukembo Association, herein AKA, and you recognize that martial art training requires physical exertion, which may be strenuous and may cause or contribute to physical injury or death and you are fully aware of all the risks and hazards involved. You understand that it is your responsibility to consult with a physician prior to any said activity regarding your participation in these martial art classes. You represent that you have done so and that you are physically fit for these activities and that you have discussed with the instructors at the AKA any and all medical conditions, which would prevent your full participation in these classes. You agree to inform the dojo of all physical limitations (injuries, chronic weaknesses, etc.).

In consideration of being permitted to participate in these martial art classes, you agree to assume full responsibility for any risks or injuries, known or unknown, which might occur as a result of participating in these martial art classes and any associated activities or travel to and from said activities. You knowingly, expressly and voluntarily waive any claim that you may have against the AKA, the Instructors and other participants and students for any injury or damages that you may sustain as a result of participating in these martial art classes or any associated activities at any venue or travel thereto.

You, your heirs or legal representatives forever release, waive, hold harmless, discharge and covenant not to sue the AKA, the Instructors, venue or other participants or students for any injury or death that may ensue from participating in these martial art classes or related activities to include travel to and from said venues. You agree that any tuition and fess paid toward these activities are non-refundable and non-transferable. The AKA reserves the right to refuse membership to anyone without cause.
